Mary Ann Logerman, 70, of Vandalia, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, at the Mexico Elks Lodge.

Mary was born on May 26, 1953 in Hannibal, the daughter of Ralph and Minnie Maude (Walker) Motley. She married James Logerman and they had four children together, Angela, Kelly, Jamie and Elbert. James preceded her in death.

Mrs. Logerman graduated from Van-Far High School and cosmetology school in Mexico. She had worked as a hairstylist for many years at Linda's Beauty Salon. Playing bingo brought her great joy. She also loved dancing, karaoke, crocheting and cross stitching. Mary was a talented seamstress and altered many clothes for the public. Above all, she loved her family, especially her kids and grandkids.

Survivors include her four children, Angela Spencer (Rob Graf II) of Mexico, Kelly Logerman of Vandalia, Jamie (Shonda) Logerman of Laddonia and Elbert (Nicole) Logerman of Mexico; six step-children, Jacqueline (Brent) Darnell of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jessica (Davis) Hall of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Joshua (Cheyenne) Nobert of Arkansas, Joseph Nobert of Indiana, Melissa (Jason) Wilson and Nicole (Rusty) Smith of Branson; 12 grandchildren, Olivia Reeves, Kaitlin (Heath) Sigmon, James Spencer, Austin (Brittany) Logerman, Dalton (Sydny) Logerman, Devin (Elizabeth) Logerman, Rosie Contreras-Mendez, Bella Contreras-Mendez, Dayton (Kennedy) Withrow, Ashley Withrow, Kaden Logerman and Selena Winberry; 21 great-grandchildren, Hadley, Braxton, Brooklyn, William, Madilynn, Raelynn, Kentlee, Lynnlee, Blaze Sigmon, Sabastian Sigmon, Harley Hane, Tristian Wallace, Evan Hall, Magnolia Darnell, Madelyn Hall, Alec Wilson, Ian Wilson, Andrew Smith, Kaitlyn Smith, Blake Smith, and Baby Marty Withrow; and three brothers, Johnny Motley of California, Ralph (Dale) Motley of Lake Forest, California and Gary Motley of New Hartford.

Mary was also preceded in death by her parents, her companion of 23 years, John Nobert, who passed away on August 12, 2023; one brother, Charles Motley; two aunts, Clara Motley and Mallie Motley; and one grandson-in-law, Derry Wallace.

Memorial donations may be made to Arnold Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
