Mary Ann (Miller) Harlow, 78, of Centralia, formerly of Mexico and Perry passed away on June 6, 2026 at Boone Hospital in Columbia,Mo.

Mary Ann was born in Springfield Illinois to George Franklin Miller and Minnie Marie (Lynn) Miller on January 31, 1948. She was married to Joseph Glenn Harlow on October 29, 1966 in Mechanicsburg, IL. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2007.

She is survived by daughters Jo Ann Diffenderfer (Karl Reeves) of Perry and Machelle (Brian) Mortimer of Centralia; grandchildren Matthew (Samantha) Diffenderfer, Brandon Mortimer, and great-granddaughter Mallory Diffenderfer. She has three sisters, Gloria Pumphrey, Nancy Gowin, and Darleen LoPresto and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother Ron Miller, her sister Arleen Miller Tischler, her son-in-law Dennis Diffenderfer, and grandson Barrett Harlow Mortimer.

During her lifetime she worked many jobs and was an expert seamstress, knitter, and crocheter. She taught knitting classes to several students, donated red scarves to all kindergarten students in Mexico, MO, and sewed and donated hundreds of clothing protectors to the Kings Daughters Home in Mexico.  She was a member of the International Order of Kings Daughters and Sons Whatsoever Circle and Mark Twain Memorial VFW Auxiliary 4088 in Perry. No services are planned at this time. Mary Ann would have loved knowing that you donated to a favorite charity or did a random act of kindness in her memory.
