Martha Sue Welch, 67, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at The Bluffs in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Arnold Funeral Home. Kevin Wilkerson will be officiating the service.  Burial will follow at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Jacksonville.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 20, from 9:00 A.M. to time of services at the funeral home.

Martha was born on July 22, 1955 in Fulton, the daughter of James Hulen and Mary Ruth Foster.  On June 17, 1972 she married David Welch in Mexico.

Martha loved to sing, so much so she had a karaoke business as a hobby. Other hobbies included cooking, sewing and quilting.  She would spend some of her leisure time boating and camping.  Martha also enjoyed to spend time with her pets.

Survivors include her husband, David Welch of Mexico; two daughters, Laurey (John) VerBeek of Newton, KS and Rebecca (Pat) Christensen of Clarksville, MI; one son, Timothy Welch of Big Sky, MT; seven grandchildren, Erin Welch of Columbia, Kelsie VerBeek of Peabody, KS, Travis VerBeek of Newton, KS, Gage Christensen and October Christensen both of Clarksville, MI, Coyt Welch and Tenley Welch both of Comstock Park, MI; one brother, Thomas Howard of Camdenton.

Mrs. Welch was preceded in death by her parents, and a son Christopher Welch.
