Martha Frances Cornelison, 74, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, at Arnold Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Atkinson will be officiating the service.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 12, from 1:00 P.M. until time of services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cornelison was born on October 11, 1949, in Mexico, the daughter of Edgar Bricie and Evelyn (Dougherty) Lewis.  On August 11, 1990, she married Donnie Cornelison who preceded her in death on January 21, 2003.

Martha was a hard-working woman who always put others first.  Family dinners were a special time where she got to spend time with her children and grand-children.  She would spend her free time going to garage sales, fishing and trying her luck with Missouri Lottery tickets.  She received the "most thoughtful" CNA award and several employee of the month awards.

Survivors include two children, Larry Benskin of Mexico and Barb Workes of Mexico; five grandchildren, Tony Benskin, Dustin Benskin, Ashley Smith, Cody Workes and Nickk Woods; two sisters, Zelma Dillon and Barbara Engelhard; 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Cornelison; and sister Mary Pauley.
