Martha Claire Butcher, 71, of Mexico, formerly of Syracuse, New York and Rosendale, New York, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022, at her home.

A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, at Arnold Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Martha was born on July 30, 1951, in Kingston, New York, the daughter of LeRoy Andrew and Alberta (Fleming) Constant. She married John Butcher on June 11, 1977, in New York.

Quilting, sewing and cooking were many of the things Martha enjoyed. She loved spending time with her family.

Martha is survived by her husband, John; two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Butcher of Mexico and Janis Elizabeth (Joel) Montgomery of Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren, Caleb, Ceilidh, Holly and Highland Montgomery all of Cleveland; four brothers, Carl, Richard, Douglas and Andrew; and two sisters, Charlotte and Alice.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Eric and Robert; and sister, Dorcas.
