Martha Sue Brown, 82, of Mexico, passed away on March 7, 2024, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Arnold Funeral Home with J.T. Fierge officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Martha was born on September 29, 1941 in Fayette. She is the daughter of Paul and Susie Dodson. On June 5, 1959, she married Dawson Brown in Mexico. Dawson preceded her in death on May 9, 2016.

Martha enjoyed being outside and doing yardwork. She loved to take care of her flowers and to spend time in her garden tending to her plants. If she wasn't in her garden, you could find her bowling or playing bingo.

She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Powell of Mexico; three sons, Brian (Jackie) Brown of Columbia, Gregory (Lisa) Brown of Mexico, and Jay (Kelly) Brown of Union; 10 grandchildren, Heather Benn, Dawson Powell, Brandi Kinsey, Eddie Brown, Adam Brown, Danielle Powell, Brianna Brown, Aiden Brown, Samantha Brown, and Emily Brown; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sons, Perry Brown and Steven Brown.
