Mark D. Weakley, 59, of Mexico, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Stanford officiating the service.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. until time of services at the funeral home.

Mr. Weakley was born on October 5, 1962 in Mexico, the son of August and Darlene (Pruessner) Weakley. He was married to Debbie (Bradley) from April 1989 to April 2003.

Mark enjoyed fishing and hunting, which he spent a lot of time doing with his children and with his sister, Linda. He often hosted fish fries, bonfires and bar-b-ques for family and friends.  Mark spent time watching westerns and action movies, and also relaxed by listening to older country music and sometimes dancing. Mark was able to spend time as a coach and sponsor of his daughter Sarah's youth softball team.

Mark worked at A.P. Greens for several years, and worked as a roofer for part of that time and after as well. He then had a construction company, Weakley Construction before going into business with Cutforth Builders. In late 2004, Mark purchased Cutforth Builders which then became Mid-Missouri Builders & Supply. In 2016 he lessened the work load the company took on and began working for Audrain County to have more time with his family.

Survivors include his daughter, Sarah Weakley of Mexico; one son, Travis (Danielle) Weakley of Auxvasse; one step-daughter; Lisa (Rodney) Spires of Mexico; one sister, Linda Moody of Mexico; one brother, Richard Weakley; four grandchildren, AnnaLise, RyLee, Hannah and Brooklyn; three nephews, Paul Moody, Gus Moody, Brandon Stice and one niece, Amanda (David) Hope.

Mr. Weakley was preceded in death by his parents, August and Darlene Weakley and one sister, Joyce Stice.
