Marian Frances (Arens) Fipps, 83, of McKinney, Texas, passed away at 12:44 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2024, at the Medical City Dallas Heart Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

A Prayer Service with a Rosary recited will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg, Missouri.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Derek Hooper officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Mrs. Fipps was born July 23, 1940, in rural Martinsburg, Missouri, a daughter of Lawrence Joseph and Leona Marie (Fennewald) Arens.

On October 17, 1959, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg, Missouri, she married Thomas Luther Fipps, Jr., sharing over 64 years together. Marian and Tom have lived in Montgomery City, Wellsville, Bridgeton, and Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, before retiring in McKinney, Texas.

As a dedicated woman of God, she spent two hours of each day praying for her family, friends, and all those in need worldwide. She enjoyed many types games, putting puzzles together, and watching St. Louis Cardinals' baseball. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She had an extensive collection of owl figurines, ornaments, and collectables.

Marian is survived by her husband, Thomas Luther Fipps, Jr., of McKinney, Texas; three children, Troy Linsey (Martha Cavazos) Fipps, of Mission, Texas, Todd Lawrence (Lily Li) Fipps, of Lewisville, Texas, and Tricia Leona Fipps, of McKinney, Texas; four grandchildren, Eric Anthony (Jessica McCraney) Fipps, of Frisco, Texas, Brandon William Liu, of Lewisville, Texas, Micaela Claire Fipps of Mission, Texas, Megan Jada Fipps, of Lewisville, Texas; one great-grandchild, Nessia Rose Sylvia Webb, of Frisco, Texas; sister and brothers, Mildred (E.J.) Saunders, of Creve Coeur, Missouri, Noel (Margie) Arens, of Argyle, Texas, and Gene (Sandy) Arens, of Harrisburg, Missouri; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary Arens, of Martinsburg, Missouri, Joe Stuckenschneider, of Martinsburg, Missouri, and Jerry Robinson, of Mexico, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lester Arens; sisters, Eunice Welschmeyer, Adele Stuckenschneider, and Natalie Robinson; and a brother-in-law, Steve Welschmeyer.
