Mabel Jane Evans, 83, of Mexico, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Mabel was born on March 28, 1938, in Meta, the daughter of Roy and Hedwig (Matthiesen) Sinden.

She worked for Florsheim Shoe Factory in Mexico, Stride Rite in Fulton and Quality Plastics in Mexico until each place closed. She then went to work at the Handi-Shop for 17 years.

Mabel is survived by two children, Gale Sanning and Robert Evans both of Mexico; five grandchildren, Gene Rhodes (Michelle), Keisha Wiecken, Kenneth (Liz) Wiecken, Zachary Evans and Cameron Evans; seven great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Alva Sinden and Chuck Sinden.

She is preceded in death by daughter, Audrey Keifer; two sons-in-law, Larry Keifer and Joseph Sanning; two brothers, Ronnie Sinden and Cletus Matthiesen; and two ex-husband's, Donavon Evans and William Allen Duckworth, Sr.
