Louella Fay Knipfel, 88 died February 4th, 2022 at Kingdom Care in Fulton. Born August 20, 1933 in Carter County, OK. Louella was the daughter of the late Andrew (Bent) and Minnie Renick of Wichita Falls TX.

Louella met her husband Herbert C. Knipfel while he was stationed in the Air Force in Wichita Falls, TX. They married August 20, 1949 in Wichita Falls TX. They moved to Laddonia in 1952. Herbert and Louella were married for 62 years until his passing February 8th, 2012.

Louella loved gardening. She helped Herbert on the farm doing whatever he needed her to do while raising 7 children. Louella was a hard worker and loved to stay busy, whether it be on the farm, cooking, canning, or working at one of her other jobs. But she loved having her grandbabies around most of all. From farming with Herbert, they decided to go to work for OTI as truck drivers. They worked for OTI until they retired.

Survivors include; Three daughters; Charolette (Greg) Hendricks, Betty (JC) Miller, Debbie Cope; and one son Jerry (Chris) Knipfel. 21 grandchildren Tricia Schniedemeyer, Tim Cobb, Wendy Cooley, Joanna Hendricks, Jennifer Seay, Courtney Miller, Megan Horstmeier, Michelle Horstmeier, Jared Knipfel, Greg Eikel, Dustin Knipfel, Ayrn Knipfel, Ryan Knipfel, Lyle Knipfel and Haly Chalfant, Anna Knipfel, Ashley Davis, and Brittnay Davis, Caleb Knipfel, Amelia Knipfel, and Ethan Knipfel.

Louella was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herbert Knipfel, three sons, James Knipfel, Michael Knipfel, and Paul Knipfel. Three brothers; Dalton, Evon, and Billy Renick and one sister Rosella Edwards. One grandchild Tracey Seay and one great-great grandchild Gracelynn Akers.

Graveside services will be Wednesday February 9th at 1:00 pm at the Laddonia Cemetery.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Laddonia First Baptist Church Community Building on Saturday February 12th from 12-3. Food will be provided.
