Lois Ann Gaston, 55, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Forman officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation is Saturday from 12 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Lois was born on June 25, 1966 in Columbia, the daughter of Curtis and Olivia A. (Foreman Gaston) Snyder.

Lois was baptized at Farber Baptist Church. Years ago, she worked for Mexico Plastics until becoming a cosmetologist. She then worked for Audrain Developmental Disabilities Services, retiring in 2018.

Ms. Gaston loved fishing, bowling and being with her grandchildren. She loved her family and friends so much. Playing jokes and laughing with them was often, as was listening to music.

Survivors include the love of her life, Jackie Beal of the home; four children, David Jesse (D.J.) Lierheimer (Carley Fox) of Mexico, Curtis Ray (Ani Milovich) Lierheimer of Pacific, Edward Lee (Brandy) Polston of Mexico and James Tomas (Kassy) Polston of Mexico; five grandchildren, Layla ShyAnn Polston, Leigha Rene Polston, Jase Thomas Polston, Calab Polston and Aurelia Grace Ray Lierheimer; one brother, Roger Lee (Sue) Gaston of Santa Fe; two nieces, Mackenzie Schudel and Roxanne Marie (Justin) Golian; two nephews, Heath Allen (Corrie) Gaston and Justin Lee (Kalene) Gaston; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Edward Gaston, Olivia Snyder and Melvin Ray Snyder; her grandparents, Edward Gaston, Edna Gaston, Homer Foreman, Zola Foreman, Claude Snyder and Beatrice Snyder; and one brother, Norman Ray Gaston.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. They may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
