Lisa Irene Warden, 49, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at her home.

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, November 4, at Arnold Funeral Home with Kevin Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Middletown.

Visitation is Monday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Lisa was born on September 16, 1975, in Mexico, the daughter of Ralph David Barr and Frances Helen (Schumacher) Barr. She graduated from Community R-6 High School in 1993 and served in the Missouri National Guard for many years.

Lisa was a beloved jokester, known for her playful humor and captivating ghost stories that always had a funny twist. Her superstitions—like carrying a lucky penny and avoiding umbrellas indoors—added to her charm. Above all, she cherished being "Granny," creating magical memories with her grandchildren through laughter and enchanting tales, ensuring her legacy of joy would live on.

Survivors include her mother, Frances Barr of Laddonia; three children, Jacob (Dakota) Wieberg of Mexico, Beau Whittle of Springfield, and Blake Whittle of Iberia; and three grandchildren, Benjamin Wieberg, Jocelynn Wieberg, and Kaison Wieberg.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Ralph David Barr; and her brother, Ted Alan "Teddy" Barr.

Memorial donations may be made to the Missouri Suicide Prevention Network, 221 Metro Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
