Lisa Marie Schulze-Bahlman, 53, of Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at her home.

Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, at Arnold Funeral Home. Visitation is from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, at the funeral home.

Lisa was born on August 3, 1971 in Fulton, Missouri. She was a graduate of Mexico High School and went on to work at A.P. Green and the Missouri Veterans Home, where she was known for her dedication and compassion.

Lisa's faith was important to her. During her grandfather Marvin Jones's time as pastor, she attended Friendship Baptist Church in Mexico, later becoming a member of Southside Baptist Church in Vandalia.

She had a deep appreciation for nature, especially bird watching, and expressed her creativity through art—particularly her velvet marker paintings. Lisa also enjoyed watching daytime television, with The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful being her favorites.

Above all, Lisa was a generous and kind-hearted soul. She gave back to her community by volunteering with the housing authority and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Survivors include four children, Ashley (Rickie) Wasson of Montgomery City, Britany (Mathew) Allen of New London, Wesley Bahlman of Mexico, and Anne-Marie (Justin) Peacock of Mexico; 10 grandchildren, Rickie Levi Wasson, Madalynn Wasson, Silas Wasson, Maverick Wasson, Zoey Gilman, Lucas Allen, Piper Allen, Caroline Peacock, Mason Peacock, and Oliver Peacock; her parents, Joseph and Donna Martin of Mexico; four sisters, Lori Brower of Mexico, Ruth Ann Taylor of Mexico, Leslie (Michael) Smith of Georgia, and Jamie (Jason) Shackleford of Centralia; nieces and nephews, Garbrielle (Kameron) Hampton of Mexico, Connor Brower of Mexico, Samantha Taylor of Centralia, Tyler Taylor of Mexico, Reagan Shackleford of Centralia, and Anthony (Kellee) Brower of Mexico; and a great-niece and great-nephews, Ashton Hampton, Nova Brower, Lucas Brower, and Decker Brower.

Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marvin and Fern Jones, and Frances Schulze.
