Lisa D. Dowell, 60, of Mexico, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024, at University Hospital Columbia. Born on February 16, 1964, Lisa was a graduate of Paris High School. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, cherishing her time with her grandchildren and her beloved great-grandchild. Lisa had a long and varied career, working for several different companies throughout her life. She retired from Walmart earlier this year.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald M. & Janet K. Dowell.

Survivors include her son, Dwight (Katie) Taylor of Mexico, MO; sisters, Missy Dowell of Male, Maldives, and Dana Dowell of Kennesaw, GA; grandchildren, Claire, Jacob, and Brandon; great-grandson Aiden, all of Mexico, MO.

A celebration of Lisa's life will be held at a later date, allowing family to gather and honor her memory.
