Surrounded by family, Linda Herndon, age 77, of Mexico, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 31, 2024.

Known as "Lala" to her favorite people, Linda was a loving wife, mother, aunt, sister, grandmother and friend to many. With its overflowing flower beds, walls covered in family photos and wood-burning stove, her home was a place of comfort, laughter and where fond memories were made. She was fiercely loyal, quick to lend a listening ear and always sought to support causes near and dear to her heart.

Linda is survived by her husband, Larry; three siblings, Gary (Donna) Tynes, Jean (Jim) Ortbals and Patrick (Chris) Tynes, along with their families; two daughters, Dot (Dan) Quinlan and Dawn (Andy) Dugan; and four grandchildren, Caleb (Emma) Quinlan, Lauren Quinlan, Kade Dugan and Karson Dugan.

More than anything, Linda wanted to leave this world — and its people — better than she found it. She requested for interment to be private and held at a later date, so those looking to carry on her spirit of selflessness can make memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children or the organization(s) of their choice.
