Lillian Joan Becker, 85, of Laddonia, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021, at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg on Thursday, July 22 at 10:00 A.M.  with Father Philip Kane officiating.  Burial to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Martinsburg.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 21 from 5:00 P.M until 7:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Mrs. Becker was born on June 17, 1936 in Silex, the daughter of Frank and Lillian (Sullivan) Lenk. On August 17, 1957, in Millwood, Missouri, she married Robert "Bob" Becker.

Family was a high priority for Joan.  She enjoyed going to watch her grandchildren compete in their athletic events.  Joan was a huge University of Missouri basketball fan, especially when Norm Stewart was the coach.  She was a talented artist and took special pride in designing the vestments and altar cloths at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Joan was particular about her yard and she preferred to be the only one to mow it.  She also loved to watch and care for the purple martins that visited her yard.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Becker; three sons, David (Karen) Becker of Menifee, CA, Bob P. (Denise) Becker of Laddonia, Mike (Shelley) Becker of Centralia; one daughter, Katy (Paul) Merz of Bowling Green; four sisters, Margaret DuValeus of Florida, Judy Tepen of Bowling Green, Janet Orf of Bowling Green, Becky Erasmus of St. Louis; two brothers, John Lenk of Troy, Joe Lenk of Kidder, MO; 11 grandchildren, Missy Hodges, Dani Becker, Matt Becker, Mackenzie Chism, Chris Becker, Jamie Becker, Alex Becker, Meghan Dawson, Madison Bunton, Lauren Merz, Stephen Merz and seven great-grandchildren

Mrs. Becker was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lillian Lenk; two brothers, Dan Lenk, Jim Lenk and an infant sister, Martha Lenk.
