Laura "Peggy" Omega Haynes, 93, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021, at University Hospital and Clinics.

Graveside Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 18, at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Peggy was born on June 13, 1928, in Mexico, the daughter of Joseph Daniel and Elizabeth (Dillard) Wayne.

She was a 1946 graduate of Mexico High School. Peggy worked at AB Chance and at Casey's for 15 years.

Peggy enjoyed spending time with family and going to church.

She is survived by one son, Robert Haynes of Mexico; five grandchildren, Sheila Haynes (Justin Feger), Shannon Haynes, Andre Lortie, Shevon Lortie and Nathan Lortie all of Mexico; 12 great-grandchildren, Jade Feger, Jordyn Feger, Jessa Feger, Journee Feger, Laura Haynes, Dalton Haynes, Brendan Lortie, Olivia Lortie, Nathan Lortie, Carter Jackson, Lily Cranston and Kevon Cranston.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Dillard; two sons, Richard Haynes and Michael Haynes; one daughter, Kathy Haynes; three sisters, Benny Remley, Wanda Adams and Ethelyn Wayne.
