Kristina Lynn Fecht, 58, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Arnold Funeral Home. Buck Green will be officiating the service. Private graveside services will follow.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Arnold Funeral Home.

Kris was born on March 20, 1966 in Mexico, the daughter of Eddie and Jolene Stewart.  On December 28, 1991 she married Andy Fecht in Mexico.

Kris was a devoted and selfless servant to the children and parents of the Mexico School District, where she spent many years as a secretary in various offices. Known for her dedication, hard-nosed approach, and exceptional organizational skills, Kris always went above and beyond for those she served. Her love for her family, especially her grandchildren, was unwavering—they were truly the apple of her eye. A fighter at heart, Kris courageously battled breast cancer for several years with strength and grace. Throughout her life, she lived by her deep faith, embracing the belief that faith triumphs over fear. Kris will be remembered for her compassion, commitment, and the profound impact she made on everyone who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Andy Fecht of Mexico; two daughters, Haley (Brandon) Schafer of Mexico, Whitney (Seth) Mobley of Fayetteville, AR; two grandchildren, Blayke and Bristol Schafer; her mother, Jolene Gilltrap of Mexico; her father, Eddie (Jeanie) Stewart of Mexico; one brother, Keith Gilltrap of Nixa; mother-in-law, Joan Fecht of Mexico; sister-in-law, Lisa (James Terry) Fecht of Mexico and one niece, Sidny Groves of Mexico.

Kris was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Larry Fecht.
