Kenneth L. Smith, 76, of Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at his home.

Memorial Graveside Services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 6, at East Lawn Memorial Park.

Kenneth was born on June 19, 1945, in Clinton, Missouri, the son of James P. and Queen Smith. On October 12, 1963, in Mexico, he married Alma Jean Lemasters.

Mr. Smith was raised a Baptist. He worked at A.P. Greens his entire career, retiring in 2000.

Kenneth enjoyed gardening and yard work. He also enjoyed carpentry, a skill he utilized in designing and building his house.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Smith of the home; one daughter, Pamela Smith of Columbia; one son, Darrell (Suzanne) Smith of Frisco, Texas; two grandchildren, Zachary (Alyssa) Smith of Northlake, Texas, and Courtney (Brad) Hawksley of Tomball, Texas; one sister, Elsie Boyd of Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles Smith and James Smith.
