Arlene Holden passed away on November 18, 2022 and Kenneth Holden passed away on
September 15, 2025, leaving behind a profound legacy of love. Ken, 88, and Arlene, 84,
shared a remarkable life, married for 62 years. Their enduring love story began in North
Dakota and continued together until their final days.

Ken was born in Wilton, North Dakota, the son of Ivan and Marion (Eliason) Holden.
Arlene was born in Washburn, North Dakota, the daughter of Emanuel and Ada
(Babnick) Tjenstrom.

Together they found joy in traveling with their family, being active with the Lions and
Lioness Clubs, and volunteering throughout the community.
They are survived by their children,  Barbara Brouster and Barry Holden; many
grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many other beloved family members
and friends.

A joint service to honor both of their lives will be held on May 9, 2026 at11:00 am at the
St, Paul's Lutheran Church, 204 Jones St., Jonesburg, Missouri. It will be followed by a
meal for all to attend.

Memorials may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the
Jonesburg Lions Club.
