Julie Ann
Talley
Aug 21, 1964 — Apr 2, 2023
Laddonia
Julie Ann Talley, 58, of Laddonia, went to meet Jesus on Sunday, April 2, 2023.
Funeral Services will be at 12 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, at Arnold Funeral Home. Private burial will follow in Littleby Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
Julie was born on August 21, 1964, in Milan, Missouri, the daughter of Warner and Carol Bunch. She graduated from Milan C-2 High School in 1982 and attended Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville. While there, she met David Talley, and upon graduation they married on June 28, 1986, locating on the family farm. This began a 37 year long farming career together filled with fun, love, and good memories.
Julie's hobbies included sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking, and working with flowers, but Julie's most important thing was her three boys. She loved and cared for them more than any son could ask. She was always there to teach, feed, console, and guide them through every step of their life. Julie taught the love of Jesus to them not only in word, but by example and they will be forever thankful for it.
After her children had all reached school age, Julie began working at Hawthorne Elementary where she enjoyed caring for the many students there in the same manner she cared for her own kids.
Through her extended cancer, God blessed her with continued time with her family and strength. This included watching her two grandsons be born.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, David; sons, Vincent and Molly, Beau and Gabriella, all of Mexico, and Heath of the home; two grandsons, Thomas and Eli Talley; sister, Linda Concepcion of Harris, Missouri; sister, Sue Wolfe of Lake Viking, Missouri; mother, Carol Bunch of Cameron, Missouri; mother-in-law, Betty Talley of Laddonia, Missouri; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Dana and Judy Ferguson of Pleasant Hill, Illinois, Roger Talley of Laddonia, Steve and Debra Kreyling of Mexico, Wes and Kay Foreman of Rush Hill, Scott and Diane Batts of Mexico and Bruce and Susan Wolfe of Fredericksburg Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
Julie will be missed by her family as long as they remain on this earth. After that, they will all be together again.
Memorial donations may be made to the Agape House in Vandalia. They may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson Street, Mexico, MO 65265.
