Judy Earlene Coffer Fletcher, 63, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
Judy was born on September 5, 1959, in Modesto, California, the daughter of Lawrence "Lucky" and Eva Mae (Duvall) Coffer.
Ms. Fletcher was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had been the Director of Nursing at the King's Daughters Home for 15 years and was a charge nurse at Pin Oaks Nursing Home. She also worked in the Geriatric Psych Unit in Moberly and had been a case manager in Quincy.
Judy loved the St. Louis Cardinals and going on many float trips in the summer and to the lake. She also enjoyed her plants, dogs and being with her grandchildren.
Survivors include five children, George Allen (Jessica) Crum of Mexico, Patrick Aaron Crum of Mexico, Michael Andrew (Jennifer) Crum of Mexico, Ashley Michelle Fletcher of Mexico, and Corey (Candice) Smith of Mexico; 11 grandchildren, Mercedes Shiane Crum, Sierra Jade Crum, Bailey Ray Crum, Nickolas Gage Crum, Ayden Taylor Williams, Kellie Dawn Baker, Emilee Raelyn Baker, Aspen Marie Jones, Hollie Marie Baker, Audrie Elayne Jones and Aysha Moffitt; two brothers, Larry Coffer of Mexico and Willy (Barb) Coffer of Mexico; and one sister, Sarah (Richard) Graves of Mexico. She was also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much.
Judy was preceded by her mother, Eva Mae Coffer Mishler; father, Lawrence "Lucky" Coffer; step-father, Claude D. Mishler; grandmother, Jessie Hinten; one brother, Donnie Coffer; and her beloved dog, Dixie.
