Josey Wayne Hinten, 15, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, as a result of an accident.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico, Missouri. Burial will follow in Laddonia Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of services at the funeral home.

Josey was born on October 1, 2006 in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Clifford Wayne Hinten and Beckie Kay Reiley.

Josey was a freshman at Bergman High School.  He enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting and playing baseball.  Josey also loved his time with friends.  He always had a smile on his face and was the happiest kid ever.

Survivors include his parents, Clifford Hinten of Harrison, Arkansas, and Beckie Reiley of St. Joseph, Missouri; eight siblings, Jude Poole, Clifford Hinten III, Clyde Hinten, Anthony Hinten, Jesse Hinten, River Webb, Bethany Rochester and Bethany Barnett; grandparents, Lydia (Clyde) Willis of Laddonia, Clifford (Vicki) Hinten, Sr. of Mexico, Randall Reiley of St. Joseph and Billie Smith of St. Joseph; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Arnold Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses. They may be mailed to Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
