John Robert Meissert, Jr., 52, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

John was born on June 20, 1970, in Mexico, the son of John Robert and Katheryn A. (Martin) Meissert.

John was a kindhearted man. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and Kayaking.

He is survived by his son, Kodie Meissert of Hallsville; sister, Kim Test of Mexico; two nephews, Garrett Test and Gage Test; niece, Haley Test; and several aunts and uncles.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Katheryn Meissert; grandparents, Joe and jane Meissert, Harrison Martin and Mary Shipman; and brother-in-law, Perry Test.
