John William "J.W." Cleeton, 90, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Clarence Care Center.

John was born on September 6, 1933, in Mexico, the son of George Leroy and Ida Viola (Goe) Cleeton. He married Darlene Ellen Cox on June 3, 1966, in Bellevue, Nebraska. She preceded him in death on August 5, 2015.

He is survived by four daughters, Ellen Herndon of Columbia, Sonya Smith of Thompson, Brenda Kysar of Mexico and Rhonda Cleeton; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

John was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Cleeton.
