Joe Neal Cheesman, Sr., 86, of Lebanon, KS, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021, at University Hospital and Clinics.

Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Fort Riley in Kansas with Rev. Paul Tessaro officiating.

Joe was born on January 5, 1935, in Lebanon, KS, the son of Clarence Washington and Lena May (Mullen) Cheesman.

Joe owned Cheesman Carnival Rides, worked concessions for various circuses, worked for an electrician when he lived in Florida and while living in New York he worked in a shipyard and sold alarms.

He is survived by companion, Lynda Lederle; and eight children, Christina Elizabeth Cheesman, Constance Marie Cheesman, Joe Neal Cheesman, Jr., William Eugene Cheesman, James Sebastian Cheesman, Patrick John Cheesman, Jason Girard King and Randall Joseph King.

Joe is preceded in death by two brothers, Arden Cheesman and Gene Leroy Cheesman, Sr.; and one sister, Coral Oneil.
