Jessie Ruth Pollard, 81, of Mexico, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri.

A Celebration of life will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Atkinson conducting the service.

Born October 23, 1939, in Pittsfield, IL, she was the daughter of Jess and Bernice Hull.  She married Larry Pollard on April 2, 1960.  Larry preceded in death on August 30, 2011 along with their son James Pollard on October 9, 2014.

Ruth was a registered nurse of 30 plus years and retired from the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico, MO.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Boating, traveling, camping, motorcycle and airplane rides were some of her favorite past times.

Survivors are a daughter, Lori Davis, of Independence, MO, and a daughter-in-law Donna Pollard, of Blue Springs, MO.  She has four grandchildren, Chase Davis and his wife Christy Davis, Mirannda Pollard Massey, and Sierra Pollard.  Ruth also has three great-grandchildren, Gracie and Karder Davis and Kayllison Massey.  Two sisters include Irene Nevis and Betty Miller.

Ms. Pollard was preceded in death by her parents, as well as two sisters and a brother.
