Jerry Wayne Harris

Jerry Wayne Harris, 57, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the University of Missouri Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 3, at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation is Monday from 12 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Jerry was born on August 14, 1968, in Fulton, the son of Kenneth Wayne Harris and Ruby Mae McShery. On July 3, 1998 in Mexico, he married Chastity Ann Parrott.

Jerry spent most of his working years as a house painter. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others and also worked as a mechanic for a time. In his free time, Jerry enjoyed working on RC cars and airplanes and took great pride in maintaining them. He also looked forward to attending car shows whenever he could.

Survivors include his wife, Chastity Harris of the home; one son, David Harris of Mexico; one granddaughter, Jersey Harris of Mexico; two brothers, Billy Harris of Mexico and Joey Hultz of Mexico; two sisters, Christina (Billy) Case of Fulton and Debbie Harris of Bowling Green; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Hultz; father, Kenneth Harris; step-father, Joe Hultz; and his grandparents, Thelma and Claude McShery.
