Jerry, born on January 24, 1954, in Mexico, was the beloved son of Ray and Velma (Johnson) Caldwell. In 1973, he married Pam Meyer, and together they had three children: Christine, Jason, and Angela. Though Jerry and Pam later went their separate ways, their bond remained strong, and they continued to be close friends throughout their lives.

Jerry spent his working years at A.P. Green and Consolidated Electric, from where he would eventually retire.  He was a member of the Elks Organization for 24 years and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Jerry was a true outdoorsman, passionate about hunting deer, turkey, and coyotes with his close friends. He also had a love for collecting guns and knives, always seeking out unique additions to his collection. Jerry enjoyed attending local auctions, often finding the best bargains. Above all, family was his highest priority. He was a devoted father and a proud PawPaw, cherishing his time with loved ones. His adventurous spirit and commitment to family will be remembered by all who knew him.

Survivors include three children, Christine (Ryan) Nowlin of Mexico, Jason (Nellie) Caldwell of Mexico, Angela (Jason) McIntosh of Kingdom City; nine grandchildren, Jordan (Baylee) Nowlin, Brady (Callie) Nowlin, Emma Nowlin, Morgan Lipscomb, Mitchell Caldwell, Isaac McIntosh, Isabelle McIntosh, Lauren Caldwell, Abigail McIntosh; four great-grandchildren, Evelyn Nowlin, Paisley Nowlin, Finn Nowlin and Eleanor Nowlin; three brothers, Kenneth (Sandy) Caldwell, Richard (Kristen) Caldwell and Robert (Lisa) Caldwell.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Velma Caldwell; one sister, Teresa Caldwell; mother and father-in-law, Francis and Betty Meyer.

The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Brendan Catholic School.  Memorials may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
