Jeffrey "Jeff" was the son of the late Dorothy V. Forrest and Melvin Forrest. Jeffrey was a 1982 graduate of Mexico Senior High School, and went on to work for the Handi-Shop for 13 years.

Jeffrey participated in the Special Olympics, loved watching baseball, recycling and spending time with his siblings.

Jeffrey is survived by his father, Melvin Forrest (Rock Island, IL) and his siblings, Marlon Forrest (Columbia), Mitzi Forrest (Mexico), Darrell Forrest (Jefferson City), Leslie Forrest (Las Vegas, NV), Spencer Forrest (Mexico) and Corey Forrest (St. Louis). Jeffrey was loved by his many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7, at Elmwood Cemetery.
