Janet Lee Wehmeyer, 74, of Montgomery City, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Janet was born on April 9, 1950, in St. Louis, the daughter of Theophane and Mary Eunice (Manion) Fennewald. On October 19, 1974, she married Glen Wehmeyer.

Mrs. Wehmeyer enjoyed riding country roads looking for wildlife, spending time with friends and family at the yearly deer camp. Her sons and grandkids were Janet's greatest joy.

Survivors include husband, Glen Wehmeyer of the home, two sons, Jim Wehmeyer of Wellsville and Jeff (Erin) Wehmeyer of Osage Beach; three grandchildren, Damian Wehmeyer of Mexico, Evan Wehmeyer of Wentzville, and Emma Wehmeyer of Wentzville; one brother, John Fennewald of Martinsburg; and two sisters, Diane (Bill) Pierce of Carterville and Darlene (Paul) Sullivan of Eldon.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Theophane (T) & Eunice Fennewald, and one brother, Dennis Fennewald.
