James "Bryan" Talley, 62, entered the gates of heaven, July 30, 2025 at Boone Hospital due to being weary and worn from health issues.

Bryan was born June 12, 1963 to William H. Talley and Beverly Joyce (Moss) Talley. Bryan graduated from Mexico High School, Class of 1981. He played basketball, being a post player for the Mexico Bulldogs and also participating in FFA and 4-H.

Bryan was a gifted carpenter, managing the Talley Construction business for years, building barns and renovating in the central Missouri and Mexico area. He gradually took charge of the family farm, alongside his father and brothers due to his dad's retirement.

In his adolescent years, Bryan played Khoury- league baseball. He had the status of "frozen" requested by many coaches to play on their team due to his talent and being an all-star player. In his young adult life, he enjoyed co-ed softball, fast pitch softball and volleyball.

Bryan was a member of Centennial Baptist Church. He was active in the Youth group in his teens. Bryan came to know the Lord Jesus Christ making a profession of faith following through with baptism. He carried out his faith in actions by caring for people. He had compassion for those with addictions as he combated and conquered his own issues. He attended Sunrise Christian Church later in life, enjoying the fellowship of fellow believers. Bryan and his construction crew renovated the church replacing the floors etc.

Bryan is survived by his father William Henry Talley of Mexico; sister, Teresa J Talley (Robin) Stull of Jefferson City; brothers, Bradford W. Talley, and Rodney A. (Gina) Talley of Mexico; nephews and nieces, Clint (Danica) Stull, Jordan Stull, Lexie (Alec) Fox, Meagan Talley, and Tyler Talley; five great nieces and nephews, Jasper, Cosette, Harper, Sawyer and Raiden; many cousins, aunts and uncles and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Beverly Joyce Moss Talley; nephew Zachary William Talley; paternal grandparents, Jennings Bryan and Ruth Kammameyer Talley; maternal grandparents, James Kenneth and Charlotte Deckerd Moss; maternal great-grandparents, Ernest and Marie Deckerd.
