James Michael Johnson, 75, of Fulton, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Fulton Manor in Fulton.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 1-3 pm at Arnold Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico.

Mike was born on September 13, 1950, in Mexico, the son of James W. and Dorothy V. (Johnson) O'Rourke.

Mr. Johnson was a welder at A.P. Green for 33 years and then worked as a mechanic for Mid-America Pre-Cast. He was considered by many to be a "Jack of all Trades!"

Mike enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting and working on vehicles. He was a member of the Freedom of the Road Riders for several years. Years ago, he was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Mexico. As a young father, he was a troop leader for the Boy Scouts, Little League baseball coach and umpire. Best of all was his love of conversation and laughter with anyone and everyone, but most of all his family and friends.

Survivors include his partner for 23 years, Christine Elliff of the home; son, Michael Johnson of Mexico; two daughters, Angel (Dennis) Reese of Rolla, Kayla Johnson of Borger, Texas, and one step-son, Gary Grawe of Fulton; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; four siblings, Jimmy O'Rourke of Kansas City, Billy (Tina) O'Rourke of Fulton, Teresa (Lou) Ames of Mexico, and Kevin O'Rourke of Columbia; and many nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy O'Rourke; one great-grandson, Aiden Johnson; one brother, Roger O'Rourke; and one sister, Sheila O'Rourke.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mike's honor to the American Heart Association. They may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson Street, Mexico, MO 65265.
