James Owen Burbridge, 69, of Hannibal, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2023, at his daughters' home.

Mr. Burbridge was born on September 12, 1953 in Louisana, Missouri, the son of Donald and Deloris (Perkins) Burbridge.

James enjoyed making furniture.  He worked as a builder in construction in his younger years.  He would spend leisure time fishing.  He spent many years working for Hannibal Public Schools as a janitor.  He loved to spend time with friends and family.

Survivors include one daughter, Lorrie (Gerald) Walker of Laddonia; one son, Rocky Eugene Burbridge of Laddonia; four grandchildren, Gerald Walker, Jr., Savahanna Walker-Harvey, Sheradin Walker, Stephanie Walker-Hudson; one great-grandson, Adrian Hudson and multiple nieces and nephews.

Mr. Burbride was preceded in death by his wife, Mona Burbridge; his parents, Donald and Deloris Burbridge; two brothers, Gene Burbridge and David "Bud" Burbridge; two sisters, Rita Magee and Edna Labee.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
