Jackie "Jack" Wayne Williams, 86, of Mexico, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2023, at Boone Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Jones officiating. There will be private graveside services in Laddonia Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Pallbearers: Alan Dawson, Paul McGuire, Jordan Shaw, Larry Trower, Steve Vann and Darrell Newsom

Jack was born on October 2, 1937, in Mexico, the son of Irene Williams. He married Esther Whitaker on March 29, 1963, in Mexico.

As a teenager Jack worked at the Coca-Cola plant and Frosty's Sinclair Station. From there he went to A.P. Green Refractories and retired after 35 years.

Jack enjoyed taking pictures, genealogy, bowling and fishing. He loved spending time with his family.

Jack is survived by his wife, Esther Williams; son, Doug (Joyce) Williams of Mexico; four grandchildren, Hillary Williams (Alan Dawson) of Mexico, Haley Williams (Daniel Wiggans) of Atlanta, Missouri, Jason Gifford (Rhianna) of Columbia and Ashley Gifford (Joey) of Columbia; six great-grandchildren, Nathan Smith, Britni Gifford, Raynah Gifford, Frank Gifford, Paul McGuire and Jimmy Brewer; and five great-great-grandchildren, Kami, Mayla, Kolton, Madelynne and Elizabeth.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Roy Williams; and one sister, Peggy Newsom.
