Hudson Lyle Crenshaw passed away unexpectedly, with his mother and father right by his side, on May 29 of 2022 at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri as a result of a brain injury. Hudson was 13 months old, born on April 12 of 2021. A short life lived.

Hudson is survived by his parents, Tristyn Chase and Chase Crenshaw; three grandparents, Brandy Chase, Billie Crenshaw and Ben Crenshaw; twin brother, Banks Crenshaw; two-year-old sister, Brynnlie Crenshaw; aunts and uncles, Riley Crenshaw, Breanne Crenshaw, Hayden Crenshaw, and Treytn Chase; great-grandparents, of those who are still with us today, Phyllis Chase and Edna Strohecker.

Hudson, along with his twin brother, Banks spent quite some time in the NICU when they were first born, at Women's and Children's Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. They were born two months premature, and that experience alone scared their mother and father, along with the rest of the family, to death. We never imagined we would see him back in the hospital again only to this time be in the PICU. Our family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff of University Hospital for providing such incredible care to Hudson and our Family. They did everything they could. God had and still has different plans for Hudson.

Hudson was the happiest, sweetest little boy. He loved laughing and playing with his siblings. He loved his snacks. He would cry every time we walked in the kitchen because he knew where his snacks were. He loved to snuggle up with his mom and dad in those times where he would actually sit still. He had a favorite stuffed animal that sang and danced to "Come and get your love." He was very energetic but also loved his sleep.  He started sleeping through the night at such a young age, which really helped his mother and father out.

Banks and Hudson never left one another's side. You could find them always together causing trouble somewhere new. Banks senses he's gone. He cries when he gets in the car and his brother is not in the car seat beside him. He cries when being laid down for naps for his brother is not in the crib across from him. They had a special bond. They have never been without each other. My heart goes out to Banks for that is his twin brother and they have that one-of-a-kind bond. Banks will only remember Hudson through pictures and videos. Ones that we do have and will forever cherish those memories and hold on to forever.

We did agree for Hudson to be a donor. He has the chance to save a few lives out there. We are so proud of our son. We would have loved to see where he would of went in life. Though Hudson left us earlier than anybody could have ever expected, he left a remarkable impression, and he will forever be in all our hearts. We are devastated for such an unexpected loss, and he will forever be missed. May he rest in peace. Forever remembered by all.
