Howard Keller Reading, 59, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, at Arnold Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Stott officiating. Burial will follow in Vandalia Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Howard was born on October 23, 1963, in Hannibal, the son of Paul Oliver and Doris Clay (Keller) Reading. He married Karen Culwell on May 1, 1989, in Las Vegas.

In 1982, Howard graduated from Bowling Green High School. He had been working at ADM for over 16 years.

Howard enjoyed riding his Harley and hunting. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Reading; daughter, Kayla Reading; three grandchildren, Jaryn, Karsyn and Jaxtyn Murray; three brothers, Edward (Jan) Reading, Dwayne Reading and James (Phyllis) Reading; mother-in-law, Dorothy Culwell; brother-in-law, Mike (Lori) Culwell; sister-in-law, Ronnie Lou (Gary) Pease; and many other friends and relatives.

Howard was preceded in death by son, Dakota Reading; parents, Paul and Doris Reading; two brothers, Eldon Reading and Don Reading; two sisters, Evelyn Reid and infant sister, Martha Reading; and father-in-law, Ronald Culwell.
