Herbert "Herb" William Belcher, 72, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, December 27, at Boone Hospital Center.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.

Herb was born on September 29, 1953 in Mexico, the son of Euel William and Anna (Fountain) Belcher.

Herb was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and a sports enthusiast at heart. He especially loved watching and supporting his children and grandchildren as they participated in sporting events. Herb showed his love for family in many ways, most notably through his cooking and barbecuing, joyfully sharing meals and memories with family and friends.

Survivors include four sons, Cookie (Yael) Belcher of Los Angeles, CA, Marcus (Vanessa) Belcher of Johnson City, TN, Ryan Belcher of Boca Raton, FL and Herb (Jamie Hawkins) Bruce of Mexico; eight grandchildren, Kai Belcher, Lia Belcher, Sebastian Belcher, Savannah Belcher, Reese Lillian Belcher, Zoey Rose Belcher, Mehai Bruce and Quincy Bruce; five siblings, Rose Moore of Springfield, Nellie Belcher of Mexico, Artie Belcher of Arlington, TX, Francis Belcher of Mexico and Chuck Belcher of Mexico.

Herb was preceded in death by his parents, Euel and Anna Belcher, two sisters, Katie Belcher and Emmie Belcher; one infant baby.
