Henry Vance Shivers, Jr., 74, of Columbia, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021, at The Bluffs in Columbia.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Ayanna Shivers officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Henry was born on November 23, 1947, in Mexico, the son of Henry Vance and Minnie Beatrice (Exford) Shivers, Sr.

He is survived by two daughters, Charra Shivers and Angela Scott both of Columbia; four sons, Andre Scott and Chad Shivers both of Columbia, Marlon Shivers and Henry Brice of California; a host of grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Shivers of Mexico; four sisters, Janice Shivers, Sue (Joe) Long and Sandra Johnson all of Mexico and Joyce Shivers of Waukegan, IL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Henry is preceded in death by one daughter, Stacey Shivers; parents, Henry and Minnie Shivers; two brothers, Robert Shivers and Raymond Shivers; and one sister, Evelyn Lawson.
