Henry L. Pope, Jr., was born on January 7, 1966, in Joliet, Illinois, to the union of Henry L. Pope, Sr., and Phyllis J. Pope. He entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at his home.

Henry attended school in Joliet, Illinois. He worked for Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, Illinois, and Spartan Light Metal in Mexico.

Henry had a specialty and a love for detailing cars. He was liked and loved by many.

Survivors include one son, Terrance Pope of Phoenix, Arizona; his mother, Phyllis (Thomas J.) Chambers of Mexico; one brother, Timothy Pope of Mexico; special cousin, Roslyn "Lady" Rummans; and a host of relatives and friends.

Henry was preceded in death by his father, Henry L. Pope, Sr. of Joliet, Illinois; grandmother, Alcester Cook of Mexico; grandfather, Frank Cason of Mexico; uncle, "Nookie" Brooks; grandmother, Anna Pope of Pulaski, Tennessee; and grandfather, Porter Pope of Pulaski, Tennessee.

Graveside services will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home.
