Harold Richard Jeffries, 77, of Eldon, formerly of Mexico, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.

Harold was born on May 30, 1944, in Audrain County, the son of Don Paris and Ola Ophelia (Love) Jeffries. He married Marsha Heaston on May 30, 1989, in Mexico.

Harold built many homes in Mexico, with his brother Carl and continued to run his business until his health made him retire. He loved taking care of his hummingbirds and our visiting turtles. He was a veteran having served in Vietnam.

Harold is survived by his wife, Marsha; three sons, Darrol (Amber) Withrow of Centralia, Rich Jeffries of Eldon and Marty (Angie) Withrow of Gravois Mills; one daughter, Erin (Ray) Jennings of Center; twelve grandchildren, Cassie Mundy Schnettgoecke, Anthony Withrow, Dayton Withrow, Ashley Withrow, Henry Withrow, Beatrice Withrow, Scott Jeffries, Kyle Jeffries, Rheanna Withrow Belt, Isaac Smith, Gavin Smith and Keagann Beshears; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lois (Don) McDermitt, Charlett (Bill) Wilson and Martha (Larry) Brown; and three brothers, Carl (Carolyn) Jeffries, Clifford Jeffries and Howard (Cindy) Jeffries.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Ola Jeffries; one grandson, Sean David VanDyke; five sisters, Wanda Lou Davis, Norma Nichols, Pauline Jenkins, Sue Rose and Mae Kelsay; and three brothers, Don Jeffries, John Jeffries and Lloyd Jeffries.
