Gary Wayne Vanlandingham, 64, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024, at his home.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, at Arnold Funeral Home.

Gary was born on March 23, 1960, in Mexico, the son of Charles Lee and Marion Colleen (Clark) Vanlandingham. He married Glenda Zuroweste on July 29, 1983, in Mexico.

Gary was a Boy and Eagle Scout. He had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished every moment spent in nature. Gary found joy in fishing, hunting, camping, and never missed a chance to visit the beach. His faithful dog, Buck, was his constant companion. Above all, Gary's greatest love was for his grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and fulfillment. He cherished every moment shared with them. He will be remembered for his passion for life, his love for nature, and the boundless affection he had for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Vanlandingham; two sons, Raleigh Vanlandingham and Ramsey (Danielle) Vanlandingham both of Mexico; two grandchildren, Zoe and Aiden Vanlandingham both of Mexico; brother, Kevin (Debbie) Vanlandingham of St. Louis; and his parents, Charles and Colleen Vanlandingham of Mexico.
