Garry Dean Bise, 66, of Mexico, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, at Boone Hospital in Columbia.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Garry was born on October 16, 1959, in Mexico, Missouri, the son of Orville and Lucy (Schultz) Bise. He married Cheryl Adams on January 19, 2019, in Columbia, Missouri.

Garry enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as traveling to the East Coast and Arizona. He was a caring man who adored his two grandchildren. He also dearly loved his loyal dog and traveling companion, Mister.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Bise; children, Sarah Adams, Nathan Tompkins, Deanna Tompkins, Jessica Tompkins, and David Tompkins; grandchildren, Ellie and Noah Adams; and six siblings, twin brother Larry (Tammy) Bise of Mexico, Cecil Bise (Christy Schuld) of Fulton, Brenda Benjamin of Mexico, Ellen Wolfe of Mexico, Phyllis (Jimmy) Langford of Arkansas, and Keith (Cheryl) Bise of Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Lucy Bise.
