Gabrielle Chaniece
Palmer
Mar 15, 1995 — Jan 3, 2023
Gabrielle (Gabby) Chaniece Palmer, 27, of Mexico, received her wings on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Gabrielle was born on March 15th, 1995, in Mexico, the daughter of Courtney Cannon-Hoffman and William Palmer.
A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Ayanna Shivers officiating.
Gabby attended Mexico high school, graduating in 2013. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church, where she blessed everyone with her angelic singing voice. She would touch your heart and soul every time you heard her sing. Gabby had a laugh that was contagious, you could recognize it from miles away. Her smile was everything, it was big and beautiful. Her smile lit up the room when she walked in, making it a point to show off her cute little signature gap. Gabby loved spending time with her family and friends, but the one thing she loved the most was spending time with her beloved son, Jayceon. They had the greatest relationship and an unbreakable bond, that only a mother and son could share.
She is survived by her pride and joy, her son, Jayceon Palmer; mother, Courtney (Terrill) Hoffman; father, William Palmer all of Mexico; brothers, Dasan Cannon, William Palmer, Jr., Stephfon DeLong and Shia Miller; sisters, Mintha and Lenna Palmer, Cheree' DeLong and Quaychell Nunnelly; grandmother, Leta Gardner of Mexico; uncles, Kenneth Cannon, Darius Hoffman, Anthony Gardner, Howard, Michael and James Palmer; aunts, Aszura Nunnelly, Yuvonna Shivers, Deanna Galbreath, Natasha Brooks, Denise Taylor, Myra Nunnelly, Stephanie L. Williams, Melinda and Jacqueline Palmer, Diane Jennings and Tina Mahaney; her god-brother, Jakarr Curtis; and her step-grandmother, Cordia Mahaney.
Gabrielle is preceded in death by two grandfathers, Jewell Cannon and James Mahaney; grandmother, Glenna Mae Palmer; uncle, Jewell Gardner; and aunt, Eugenia Owens.
