Frank Johns, Sr., 92, of Mexico, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 24 at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Atkinson officiating. Burial will follow in Salt River Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Frank was born on January 14, 1931, in Mexico, the son of Thomas Robert and Angie (Mundy) Johns. He married Betty Ann Seiger on January 19, 1957, in Mexico. She preceded him in death on October 17, 2012.

Frank loved sprint car racing and demolition derbies.

He is survived by nine children, Frank Jr. "Tommy" (Ruth) Johns, James "Bubby" (Tammy) Johns, Debbie (Marion) Hooton, Carla Barker, Rhonda Claywell, Jeanie Jesse, Kim Beal, Keila (David) Burts and Fran Davis; sister, Carroll Harp; brother, Robert Johns; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; special grandson, Shawn Jesse; and a special girlfriend, Vicki Ferrell.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Johns; parents, Thomas and Angie Johns; siblings, James Johns, Virginia Fox and Mary Lunceford; grandchildren, Ashleigh Beal, Kyle Hooton, Sharon Crawford and Randy Scott; and daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Eddie Scott.
