Eunice Ann Schofield, 88, of Benton City, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023, at New Florence Care Center.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, at Arnold Funeral Home with Terry Mackey officiating. Burial will follow in Benton City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Eunice was born on December 1, 1935, in Paris, the daughter of, Ira and Ocy (Norton) Comstock. She married Ernest Ray Schofield on October 11, 1951. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1994.

Eunice was very active in her community. She was on the Benton City Cemetery Board, the election committee and the Benton City Community Hall Board. She was an active member of the Benton City Christian Church. Eunice also enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Bill) Shaefer of New Bloomfield and Patricia Yelton of Wellsville; three sons, Mike (Barb) Schofield of Benton City, Randy Schofield of Benton City and Gary (Christine) Schofield of Eldon; 10 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; two brothers, Floyd Comstock and Sydney Comstock; an infant sister; and son-in-law, Bob Yelton.
