Earl Smith Jr., 75, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at his home.

Earl was born on May 4, 1951, in Summersville, Missouri, the son of Earl and Mary (Cross) Smith. He graduated from Mexico High School in 1969 and spent most of his working years at A.B. Chance, where he later retired.

Earl enjoyed collecting and looking at antiques. He also attended Friendship Baptist Church with his family for many years.

Survivors include his sister, Betty Smith of Mexico; his brother, Kenny (Donna) Smith of Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mary Smith; his sister, Kathy Albright; and his brother, Merle Smith.

There will be no services.
