Earl Gardner, Jr., 71, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Memorial Services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 14, at St. Paul CME Church with Rev. Scott Long officiating.

Earl was born on September 22, 1951, in Mexico, the son of Mary Gertrude Gardner Moore and Earl Harvey, Sr.

Earl graduated from Mexico Senior High School. He worked in the kitchen at Missouri Military Academy and in the Sanitation Department with the City of Mexico for many years. He enjoyed music, dancing, playing the guitar and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include a sister, Jeanetta (Ronnie) Kemp of Columbia; two brothers, Ritchie Moore of Lawrence, Kansas, and Elwood Moore of Warrenton; and many nieces and nephews.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mary Ann Moore; one brother, David Gardner; niece, Eugenie Owens; grandmother, Minnie Gardner; and a grandfather, Clarence Bouland.
