Earl Dee Bail, 74, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Missouri Veterans Home.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Earl was born on October 13, 1948, in Mexico, the son of Fred Earl and Lois Marie (Norton) Bail. On May 30, 1971, in Mexico, he married Laura Janet Hanson.

Mr. Bail graduated from Mexico High School in 1966 and then Oklahoma State Tech in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Earl was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving three tours in Vietnam from 1966-1969 on the USS Kitty Hawk.

Mr. Bail worked for 37 years at Pearl Motor Company, retiring in 2011. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Mexico VFW Post 3772.

Earl enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an outdoorsman who also loved camping and being with his friends.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Bail of Mexico; one daughter, Marcie (Matt) Moses of Sanford, North Carolina; one son, Andrew (Cassandra) Bail of Mexico; three grandchildren, Tyler Moses of Sanford, North Carolina, Cruiz Schoen of Mexico and Makenna Ederer of Grand Rapids, Michigan; one brother, Alan (Donna) Bail of Camdenton; one sister, Mary Ann (Alan) Fite of Macon, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Linda Hanson of Mexico; and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins.
