Donna Kay Turner Zeigler, 77, of Mexico, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Boone Hospital in Columbia.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 16, at the First Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the First Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Phil Alvord will be officiating the service. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
Donna was born on January 15, 1947, in Davenport, Oklahoma, the daughter of Victor and Myrtle (Cargill) Clark. On July 7, 2001, she married Carl Zeigler in Mexico.
Donna's unwavering priority in life was her faith in God, her family, and her church. A devoted member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Donna's musical talents were a cornerstone of her service, as she played the piano and organ for both church services and weddings, often performing music by ear with remarkable skill and grace.
Donna's love extended beyond her faith and family to her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were a source of immense joy and pride. Her nurturing spirit was evident in the way she cherished and supported them throughout their lives. Additionally, Donna had a deep affection for animals, particularly her mini horses, which brought her great happiness.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Zeigler of Mexico; four children, Doug (Lynn) Turner of Paris; Melissa Turner-Joiner of Maryland Heights, Patrick Turner of Auxvasse, Jennifer (Nick) Siripipat of Bellvue, WA; 11 grandchildren, Ren (Kendra) Eck of Portland, Paul (Marissa) Turner of Moberly, Payton Turner of Eldon, J.W. Turner of Wisconsin, Jessica Joiner of Mexico, Jon (Marina) Turner of Jefferson City, Wyatt Turner of Auxvasse, Rylee Siripipat of Bellvue, WA, Samantha Joiner of Columbia, Elizabeth Joiner of Columbia and Lily Siripipat of Bellvue, WA; four great-granddaughters; two sisters, Carolyn (Ken) Vossman of Missouri City and Judy (Floyd) Woodward of Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Myrtle Clark; and her first husband, Paul Turner.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Missouri Forget Me Not Horse Rescue & Sanctuary. Memorials may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
